Notes: This is my first Stargate story. It takes place roughly in the seventh season, though there are no spoilers beyond the major ones. As long as you know the who and what of Stargate, and what changes Daniel went through in Seasons 5,6, and 7, you'll be fine here. The rest is my imagination.
This is one of several stories originally written for, but not submitted to the Slash Advent Calendar 2004. It has sat on my hard drive for the last year, awaiting my final rewrite.

Notes: My first Stargate story... a drabble for the stargate 100 community.

The fire in the fireplace had long since burned to embers, but neither of them noticed. They were wrapped tightly in each other, on the floor next to the couch. The chill of the cold Colorado night was long left to a world outside of their embrace. Fevered kisses and the sheen of sweat that covered them was a testament to the warmth they had found in each other's arms. Tomorrow was literally worlds away, as Jack and Daniel held on to the love that had finally burned past all of their defenses. As always, they would face it together.
