Who is Wesley?

When Giles was fired from the Watcher's Council, Wesley was sent in to be Buffy's watcher and also Faith's. Much like Faith he was seen as an interloper in an already established group, with a penchant for sticking a little too close to by-the-book procedures.
After Buffy quit the council and Faith was in a coma, he was fired and set out on his own as a "rogue demon hunter."
This new avocation lands him in L.A. in direct contact with Angel and his budding investigation company. He teams up with Angel and Cordelia and we begin to see the more endearing qualities of this man, as well, as his strengths.
He is easily underestimated, but a caring and thoughtful man.
